Because Britannia Panopticon Music Hall is not open to the public on a daily basis we instead programme a range of events and shows which are appropriate to the space and compliment Britannia Music Hall's lengthy and momentous history of performance.

All the shows listed below are in Britannia Panopticon Music Hall which is accessed via the New Wynd. For events in other venues please click on the above tab titled Fund Raisers in Other Venues.

Please note there is no heating in Britannia Panopticon .

Shows in Britannia Panopticon Music Hall are generally on a free admission basis (unless otherwise stated), but we ask that visitors leave a donation to support our campaign. 

Unless otherwise stated there is no need to book in advance as admission is generally on a first come first served basis for the majority of our shows. Please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before shows start to avoid disappointment. Due to current work on the New Wynd wall of the building entrance is via the back pend - please look out for Mr Ducarr our doorman and signage.

If you are not sure where we are, please check out our map on "How to Find".

Please note that all shows and events may be subject to last minute cancellation due to ongoing work on the building (it's rare but it has happened). To make doubly sure the show you wish to attend is still on please call 0141 553 0840 for updated messages.

Music Hall Memories

A traditional music hall show with all the popular acts of 1910. With magic, music, comedy antics, speciality and novelty acts, sing-a-longs and exhibition - leave the 21st century behind for an hour or so - go on, it's free!

- A Tasty Treat of Burlesque, Vintage and Hand-Crafted Fashions. Dolly Tartan is delighted to bring some 'Ooh La La' to the Panopticon. A hand-picked group of designers will have their latest creations paraded by Burlesque models, and specially selected stalls will display the finest vintage, burlesque and hand-crafted goodies to satisfy your retail cravings! The event will be open from 12noon-9pm, with Fashion Parades at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. Look out for extra tricks and treats designed to incorporate the Panopticon's unique history!
